Job Position: Sound ArtistJob ID: 20240170 C(A45)AHCompany Background: IT Solution Service ProviderSalary Range: Basic MYR4,500 MYR6,500Working Days: Mon FriLocation: Plaza Ascent near Paradigm PJBenefit:- 13th month salary- Medical benefit, vision benefit, dental benefit, attendance benefit, Gym benefit and etcJob OverviewResponsibilities and DutiesCreate, update, maintain and add to sample and sound libraries.Develop the sound concept for a project and a sound map or storyboard from a script or project description.Use digital sound processing (DSP) to manipulate and synthesise sound and music.Enhance or distort sounds using samplers, synthesisers and audio plug-ins.Mix sounds using a Digital Audio Workstation (DAW).Work alongside other professionals including game programmers and designers.Compose and engineer music.Assist in post-production by improving sound quality or adding sound over video.Record, layer, and produce sounds and sound effects for a desired impact.RequirementDiploma/Bachelor's degree in Sound Design, Audio Engineering, Music Production, or related field (or equivalent experience).At least 1 year with proven experience as a Sound Artist, Sound Designer, Audio Engineer, or similar role, with a portfolio showcasing previous work. Fresh Graduate is welcome to applyProficiency in digital audio workstations (DAWs) will be preferred.Strong understanding of sound design principles, including sound spatialization, synchronization, and mixing.Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a passion for exploring new ideas and pushing creative boundaries.A passion for audio and a keen ear for detail, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality work.Able to write, read and communicate fluently in English. Chinese is an added advantage
