(2031) Crisis Case Manager (Evening Shift) – Diversion Center

Under the supervision of the Evening Supervisor, the Crisis Case Manager is a member of the Northern Hub Crisis Team and the Law Enforcement Diversion Center.
This position provides crisis intervention and follow-up services, relapse prevention, screening, and referrals to community resources and providers.
To those residing at the Diversion Center, the Crisis Case Manager assists in providing case management, individual skills training, and/or psychosocial interventions, in addition to completing intake protocols, developing treatment plans, and discharge planning in an environment designed to provide a safe and secure environment for short-term stabilization of behavioral health symptoms.
This position partners successfully with law enforcement, the medical community, schools, families, and social services agencies in a collaborative effort to assist persons in crisis and find placement as needed.
The ideal candidate possesses strong knowledge of the principles, methods, techniques, and practices of working with individuals experiencing a psychiatric crisis within the community, the walk-in clinic, and the voluntary respite unit, and has the ability to communicate effectively with diverse cultures and socio-economic populations.
The role uses skills and experience in working with integrated computer database programs to access files and document treatment services, along with the ability to organize and prioritize work assignments.
This position includes a flexible workday and is best suited for a person able to work both independently and collaboratively.
This position supports other crisis programs, including the Crisis Respite Unit, as needed.
Schedule:Wed-Sat, 2pm-12am
Location:Georgetown; San Gabriel Crisis Center; The Diversion Center; Williamson County
Salary:$25.23 – $36.48/hr (Includes Williamson County Differential and Evening Shift Differential)
Applicable Differentials:
2 years previous crisis experience: $2.00/hour
4 years previous crisis experience: $1.50/hour
1 year with BTCS: $2.00/hour
3 years with BTCS: $1.00/hour
Advanced Licensure: $1.00/hour
Bilingual: $.75/hour
Master's Degree in Human Services: $1.00/hour
Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in a human services field, valid Texas driver's license, and maintain approved driving status throughout employment.
If the degree is not in a human services field, a minimum of 24 college credits in a human services field are required in addition to a completed Bachelor's degree.
Preferred Qualifications:Two years of case management experience, Master's degree; pursuing clinical licensure in counseling, social work, or a related field.
Bilingual in ASL or Spanish preferred.#J-18808-Ljbffr
