As a Test Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and executing tests to ensure the quality and reliability of our products.
Your expertise will play a critical role in identifying and resolving any defects, contributing to the overall improvement of our products and enhancing customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities and Duties Collaborate with the product development team to understand product requirements and specifications.
Design and develop test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on product requirements.
Execute functional, performance, and regression tests to validate product functionality.
Identify and report software and hardware defects, and work with developers to resolve issues.
Conduct automated testing and utilize testing frameworks to improve test efficiency.
Participate in product design reviews to provide feedback on testability and potential issues.
Perform system integration testing and ensure seamless functionality across different components.
Work with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex product issues.
Stay updated with the latest testing methodologies and industry best practices.
Collaborate with the quality assurance team to maintain and enhance the test environments.
Requirement Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
X years of experience as a Test Engineer or in a similar role.
Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and techniques.
Proficiency in test case design and test script development.
Experience with test automation tools and frameworks.
Familiarity with defect tracking systems and version control tools.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate technical concepts.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
Knowledge of hardware testing and familiarity with testing IoT devices is a plus.
