ResponsibilitiesIn-charge of daily operational purchasing needs such as planning, issuing and following up on Purchase order delivery schedule.
Responsible to source, negotiate and purchase materials (Raw Mat/Pack Mat/Indirect/service/machineries/merchandise, etc) from both local and oversea vendors.
Manage approved supplier list – Direct & Indirect; Evaluate supplier performance based on quality standards, delivery time, best price and service.
Ensure all procurement are in proper record and in compliance to the regulation's and department's standard practice.
Safe-keep all products SPEC and related documents given by Supplier; to maintain records of purchase, pricing & other important data.
Review and analyze all suppliers, supply, price options and look for alternative sources for products.
Support Halal/QA team to communicate with local & oversea suppliers on the complaints and return as and when needed.
Work with other departments to complete any new project and attend to urgent orders requests.
Perform other ad-hoc duties that may be assigned by immediate superior from time to time as deemed necessary.
