6420 - Production Controller

Job Title: Production Controller (For Malaysians Only) Location: Tampoi, Johor Bahru Company Overview: A leading electronics manufacturing company, this firm specializes in producing high-quality products for various industries.
They are seeking a Production Controller to ensure the efficient flow of materials and smooth production operations.
Job Responsibilities: Raise Purchase Orders (POs) for materials required by the production department based on system-suggested quantities.
Follow up on the status of materials to ensure timely delivery to the factory.
Plan actual production dates based on customer schedules and generate the Master Production Schedule (MPS).
Coordinate with storekeepers to ensure a smooth flow of materials to the production lines.
Raise additional POs to account for production attrition.
Liaise with the Quality Assurance (QA) team regarding Material Review Board (MRB) status.
Perform any ad-hoc duties as assigned by superiors.
Requirements: Diploma or degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
2-4 years of experience in production planning or material control, ideally within a manufacturing environment.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in ERP or materials management systems.
