Oversee SMT assembly process and equipment to ensure efficient production operations and optimization of the PCBA process.
Develop, implement, and optimize SMT assembly processes to increase productivity and reduce waste.
Analyze production data, troubleshoot issues, and recommend corrective actions.
Maintain process documentation including work instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Manage maintenance, calibration, and repair of SMT equipment to ensure maximum uptime.
Evaluate and recommend new equipment purchases or upgrades to enhance production capabilities.
Collaborate with vendors for equipment servicing, repairs, and parts procurement.
Supervise and mentor process engineers and technicians, fostering continuous improvement and skill development.
Conduct training on processes, equipment operation, and safety procedures.
Collaborate with the quality assurance team to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
Implement quality control processes to minimize defects and improve yield rates.
Liaise with cross-functional teams (R&D, manufacturing, supply chain) to ensure alignment on production goals and timelines.
Provide technical support to resolve assembly process and equipment issues.
Analyze production metrics and KPIs to drive data-informed decisions.
Perform any tasks as instructed by superior.
Issue warning letters, approve leave forms, and evaluate employee performance.
Report to Director.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering.
Strong knowledge of SMT processes, equipment, and technologies (e.g., pick-and-place machines, reflow ovens).
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
Demonstrated leadership abilities and team management experience.
Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in SMT assembly processes and equipment management.
