Job Responsibilities: Internal Governance: Coordinate with HR to establish and monitor compliance with company policies.
Conduct annual training and briefings on established policies.
Patent Monitoring: Ensure timely renewal of patent applications and payments to patent agents.
Coordinate with patent agents on amendment of patent claims.
Contracts Management: Draft and review commercial contracts, ensuring favorable terms for the company.
Assist departments in negotiating contracts.
Risk Management: Conduct legal risk assessments and identify potential risks.
Investor & Public Relations: Coordinate with IR/PR agents to manage the company's communication and public image.
Update and maintain the companys corporate profile and governance on digital platforms.
Litigation Support: Gather and compile evidence for litigation cases.
Coordinate with external counsel for legal representation.
Sustainability: Coordinate with external sources for sustainability reporting.
Collaborate with teams to integrate ESG considerations into decision-making.
Organize CSR activities throughout the year.
Corporate Communications: Prepare content for the Annual Report, including the Letter to Shareholders.
Assist in preparing slides for the AGM and other corporate materials.
Ad-hoc Duties: Handle ad-hoc tasks assigned by CEO/COO.
Assist with business/marketing tasks as required by senior management.
Manage external entities, such as external counsel or auditors.
Monitor and manage the legal departments budget.
Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Law and Commerce.
Minimum of 2 years of experience as an in-house counsel, preferably in the manufacturing sector.
Strong communication and writing skills.
Ability to work independently with strong decision-making abilities.
Collaborative team player with excellent project management skills.
Knowledge of legal, corporate governance, and sustainability reporting.
Experience in drafting, reviewing contracts, and managing legal risks.
Ability to coordinate with external parties, including patent agents, counsel, and auditors.
