We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join our team as a Food Division Procurement Executive.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of procurement within the food division, including sourcing, negotiating with suppliers, budgeting, and ensuring quality and timely delivery of goods.
Key Responsibilities:
Sourcing and negotiating with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and favorable terms
Developing and maintaining strong relationships with vendors and suppliers
Identifying and selecting new suppliers to expand the supply chain network
Managing and optimizing inventory levels to minimize costs while meeting demand
Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including operations, finance, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless procurement processes
Developing and implementing procurement strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs
Analyzing market trends and industry developments to stay ahead of the competition
Monitoring and evaluating supplier performance to ensure compliance with contracts and standards
Managing and tracking budgets to ensure cost-effectiveness and financial accountability
Ensuring that all procurement activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards
Qualifications and Skills:
Diploma in business, supply chain management, or a related field
At least 2 years of working experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain related fields
Required language(s): English
Proven experience in procurement, preferably within the food industry
Strong knowledge of general procurement systems
Experience in managing the end-to-end process of purchase orders, invoices, and payments
Strong negotiation and communication skills
Analytical and strategic thinking abilities
Proficiency in procurement software and MS Office Suite
