Below are our minimal expectations for the candidate:
Seasoned senior project manager with about 8-10 years experience in project management on system/application development and end-to-end implementation
Preferably local candidates
PMP or any other project management certifications will be an added value
Experience in handling Agile projects will be an added value
Candidates' past experience should be from the FI Financial Industry, specifically Insurance.
Summary of Job Functions
To ensure a balanced portfolio of projects from a company-wide perspective; manage and optimize project portfolio resources and cost-effectively foster transparency on project portfolio performance to assure operational implementation of corporate strategies.
To involve or assist in planning, organizing, managing, and controlling the various stages of the assigned medium to high complexity projects, ensuring the projects are executed according to the schedule, cost, and quality.
To support small changes in the system and business process by providing guidance and oversight to the stakeholders.
Responsible for ensuring the Agile Team lives by the values and practices of Scrum.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
Set policies, framework, and procedures that define the establishment, management, and control of the projects portfolio.
Provide consistent project management guidance, methods, tools, and techniques for consistent project outcomes across the organization.
Prompt coordination with business units, technical team, governance team, and service provider on project implementation plans.
Identify and report project issues, slippage of tasks or milestones, and project risks to the Project Manager and facilitate timely resolution.
Conduct Scrum ceremonies including organizing and facilitating sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint review, and retrospective meetings.
Eliminate impediments and actively address issues so that the team can remain focused on achieving the objectives of the iteration.
Provide timely reports on project status, budget spending, risks, and issues to enable early visibility into project performance for better decision-making by the authorized person or committee.
Promote and take accountability for project quality, seeking opportunities to improve delivery.
Ensure PMO practice, approach, and governance processes are applied consistently.
Manage project changes, ensuring any changes to the project baseline are managed through change requests and all impacts are considered.
Adopt an agile and flexible approach to work and maintain an outstanding level of professionalism and conduct.
Manage and coordinate all cross-functional initiatives with organizational impact.#J-18808-Ljbffr
