Job Description: Review business model and agreements, leading financial due diligence exercises, developing financial negotiation strategies for business development opportunities, leading the execution of financial commitments, and reviewing evaluation of opportunities from the integrated value chain perspective to ensure statutory, contractual and financial obligations are met. Safeguard PETRONAS' interests in Joint Venture (JV) arrangements by negotiating favourable terms, maintaining effective communication, and diligently monitoring JV activities Oversee the annual budget exercise for General and Admin (G&A) and support Performance Improvement team in the annual budget exercise for Operating Expenditure (OPEX) and Capital Expenditure (CAPEX) by implementing effective budgetary control system in compliance with company's objectives & strategies and regulatory/contractual requirements Lead finance-related discussion in engagements with authorities, potential partners, financiers and customers to safeguard and maximise value for PETRONAS. Advise on financial, governance, and commercial terms for business arrangements with host governments and partners, ensuring alignment with prevailing fiscal regimes and adhering to industry best standards and practices. Qualification: Degree in Accounting/Economics/Finance. Professional qualification in accounting such as Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (ACCA), Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW), Malaysian Association of Certified Public Accountants (MICPA) would be an advantage. Requirement: Minimum 10 years in accounting/finance and commercial/business development. Exposure in sustainability, climate change and governance would be an advantage.
