Account Assistant

Bookkeeping & Small Practice Accounting (Accounting)
Basic accounting knowledge (e.g., debits, credits, financial statements, etc.).
Bank reconciliation and account reconciliation to ensure accuracy and that records are up to date.
Monitor and manage debtor accounts to ensure timely payments are received.
Prepare and send account statements, reminders, and collection letters.
Follow up with customers regarding overdue accounts and assist in resolving disputes.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all debtor accounts.
Reconcile debtor accounts and assist in the preparation of financial statements.
Maintain organized records of financial documents and ensure they are filed in a systematic and accessible manner for future reference and audits.
Process payments and ensure accurate recording of transactions.
Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth communication and resolution of any issues affecting debtor accounts.
Assist in year-end audit and tax compliance preparation.
Preparation & handle ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the superior.
Language: Chinese is preferred. Malay and English.
Working days: Monday to Friday, and alternate Saturday off.
