Job Description Preparing statutory accountsEnsuring payments, amounts and records are correctWorking with spreadsheets, sales and purchase ledgers and journalsRecording and filling cash transactionsControlling credit and chasing debtInvoice processing and fillingProcessing expense requests for the accountant to approveBank reconciliationLiaising with third party providers, clients and suppliersUpdating and maintaining procedural documentationMonitoring daily communications and answering any queries Requirements At least Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related fieldUnderstanding of basic accounting principles and practicesAbility to analyse financial data and generate reportsAccuracy in data entry and financial reportingStrong verbal and written skills for client interactions and reportingProficiency in accounting software (eg : QuickBooks, SAP) and Microsoft ExcelAbility to work as part of a team and take direction accuratelyAbility to manage multiple accounts and meet deadlinesCapability to identify and resolve financial discrepanciesHigh level of accuracyExtremely organised in a manner that is easily read by othersTrustworthy and discreet when dealing with confidential informationAdministrative skills
