Responsibilities for Tax, Audit & Reporting Team
1. Analysing accounting records and reviewing tax returns for direct and indirect tax.
2. Manage quarterly financial reporting and yearly audit.
3. Manage in the preparation of Transfer Pricing Report.
4. Liaise with External Auditor, Tax Agent, Custom and IRBM for any tax matters.
Requirements : Educational Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional Certification (e.g., CPA, CMA, ACCA) is preferred but not mandatory. Technical Skills: Tax Knowledge: Solid understanding of local tax laws and regulations. Reporting Standards: Familiarity with financial reporting standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS, MPERS). Accounting Software: Competence in major accounting and tax software (e.g., SAP). Financial Analysis: Good analytical skills for evaluating financial statements and reports. Microsoft Excel: Proficiency in Excel, including using formulas, pivot tables, and basic data analysis tools. Soft Skills: Leadership: Emerging leadership skills with potential to manage and mentor junior staff. Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills. Problem-Solving: Good problem-solving abilities and a strategic thinker. Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Time Management: Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines efficiently. Other Considerations: Ethics and Integrity: High ethical standards and integrity in professional conduct. Continuous Learning: Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying updated with changes in tax laws and financial reporting standards. Project Management: Basic skills in managing projects, including planning, execution, and follow-up. Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively with other departments and external advisors. Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing regulations and organizational needs. Additional Criteria: Auditing Experience: Background in auditing is a plus.
