The Accountant and HR Executive is responsible for managing the full set of accounts and overseeing HR operations. This role combines accounting duties such as financial reporting, tax filings, and payroll management with HR tasks, including recruitment, employee relations, and compliance with labor laws. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills and the ability to balance multiple functions efficiently.
Accounting Responsibilities:
1) Full Set of Accounts Management:
-Manage the full spectrum of accounting functions, including accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), general ledger (GL), and bank reconciliations.
-Prepare and maintain financial statements such as profit and loss, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
-Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data in the accounting system.
2) Financial Reporting and Analysis:
-Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management and stakeholders.
-Assist in budget preparation, financial forecasting, and variance analysis.
3) Taxation and Compliance:
-Handle corporate tax filings, GST/SST submissions, and ensure timely compliance with local tax laws and regulations.
-Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
4) Audit and Year-End Closing:
-Support internal and external audits by preparing relevant documentation.
-Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes.
5) Cash Flow and Payroll Management:
-Monitor cash flow and manage payments to suppliers, employees, and other stakeholders.
-Process payroll, including salary calculations, deductions, EPF, SOCSO, EIS contributions, and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
HR Responsibilities:
1) Recruitment and Onboarding:
-Manage the recruitment process from job postings to hiring decisions, and coordinate new employee onboarding to ensure proper documentation and smooth integration into the company.
2) Employee Records and Compliance:
-Maintain accurate employee records, including contracts, performance reviews, and leave tracking, while ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies.
3) Employee Relations and Development:
-Address employee concerns, manage conflict resolution, and foster a positive workplace culture. Organize training programs to improve skills and performance. Administer benefits like health insurance, retirement plans, and bonuses, ensuring timely and accurate claims processing.
4) HR Policy Development:
-Develop and update HR policies in line with company goals and regulations, and communicate them effectively to all employees.
5) Performance Management:
-Support managers in performance appraisals, including goal setting and feedback, and assist with disciplinary actions and terminations as needed.

-Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field.
-Professional accounting qualifications (e.g., ACCA, CPA) are a plus.
-Minimum 3-5 years of experience in both accounting and HR roles.
