ACCOUNT DIRECTOR Position Overview The Account Director plays a crucial role as a bridge between the agency and its clients. This position involves managing client relationships, understanding the client's needs, and ensuring the successful execution of communication campaigns. This role requires the person to have great project management skill, coordinating with various internal and external teams to deliver high-quality output and maintain client satisfaction. 
Key Responsibilities Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and nurture strong connections with clients, acting as the primary point of contact for the client. Endeavor to comprehend their business objectives and communication needs, providing insightful strategic counsel for effective solutions. Elevate the business relationship by instilling client confidence and fostering enduring partnerships.  Project Coordination: Collaborate with internal and external teams, encompassing creative, media planning, and account management, to conceive and execute advertising campaigns. Strive for on-time and within-budget project delivery, ensuring alignment with client expectations. Craft creative briefs, ensuring they not only meet client requirements but also present optimal solutions to their business challenges. Project Quality Assurance: Review deliverables against scope, ensuring that the project quality aligns with set standards and exceeds expectations. Campaign Strategy and Planning: Collaborate closely with clients to delineate campaign objectives, target audience, and messaging. Formulate communication strategies, allocate budgets appropriately, and create comprehensive campaign timelines. Steer the smooth delivery of multiple briefs, offering clear guidance to the team and other departments.  Campaign Execution and Management: Oversee the end-to-end execution of campaigns, orchestrating the coordination of internal teams to manage creative development, media buying, production, and campaign implementation.  Performance Analysis and Reporting: Monitor campaign performance, collecting and analyzing data to measure the efficacy of advertising efforts. Provide clients with regular reports, insights, and actionable recommendations for optimization and enhancement  Budget Management: Develop project budgets in collaboration with clients and internal teams. Track expenditures diligently, manage costs effectively, and ensure projects adhere to allocated budgets.  Client Satisfaction and Account Growth: Proactively identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional services to existing clients. Uphold prominent levels of client satisfaction through proactive communication, adept problem-solving, and the consistent delivery of exceptional service.  Market Research and Industry Knowledge: Stay abreast of industry trends, market conditions, and the competitive landscape. Conduct thorough market research and competitor analysis to furnish clients with strategic insights and actionable recommendations.  Business & Financial Acumen: Demonstrate financial management, steering the financial health of the account and leading projects with fiscal targets in mind. Engage in new business initiatives as needed, proactively identifying opportunities for incremental revenue across diverse touchpoints.  Mentoring & Leadership: Provide leadership by sharing best practices and offering guidance to Account Executives (AEs) and Account Managers (AMs). Foster a culture of growth by managing, nurturing, and developing the team, providing constructive and regular feedback to facilitate their professional advancement.  Skills  Proven work experience in client servicing or account management within an advertising agency or marketing firm.  Strong understanding of marketing and advertising principles, campaign management, and digital marketing trends.  Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to effectively convey complex ideas to clients.  Demonstrated project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.  Proficiency in using Microsoft PowerPoint, Words and Excel.?  Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and internal teams.  A proactive and solution-oriented approach to problem-solving.  Able to utilise digital analytics knowledge and associated tools.  Flexibility to adapt to changing client needs and work in a fast-paced environment.
