as an Account Executive.
This full-time position based in Senai Johor will see you playing a key role in the company's accounting and bookkeeping operations.
As a member of our Accounting team, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive financial services to support the growth and success of our clients.
What you'll be doing
Preparing and processing accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
Reconciling bank statements and maintaining accurate financial records
Assisting with the preparation of full set of financial reports and statements
Providing administrative support to the finance team as needed
Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and company policies
Collaborating with other departments to resolve any financial queries or issues
Any other ad hoc duty assigned by the management from time to time
What we're looking for
Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar accounting or bookkeeping role, ideally within a small practice or accounting firm
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and software
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with clients
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Relevant academic qualifications in accounting, finance or a related field
