Account Executive

Core responsibilities
• Process supplier invoices, credit notes, and debit notes accurately
• Verify proper authorization of invoices or expenses and manage timely payments
• Issue invoices to clients for services rendered 
• Record official receipts for customer payments
• Handle validation and reconciliation of SOC claims
• Update and monitor project status report (i.e. SOC claim, payment certification, sales invoices & receipts)
• Process employee expense claims, ensure it supported by relevant documentation and compliant with company policies
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliation and all necessary journal entries before closing of monthly accounts
• Conduct supplier reconciliations and follow up on any discrepancies
• Assist in weekly cash flow forecasting and updates
• Assist in monthly closing of management account and prepare monthly balance sheet schedule
• Assist in liaising with auditors and handling the audit field works
• Assist in liaising with bankers, secretaries and other external parties
• Any other ad-hoc duties assigned by supervisors and management
• Assist in mid-year and year-end stock take by coordinate with warehouse, accounting, purchasing and administration department
Technical Skills
• Diploma or Professional Certificate in Accountancy with a minimum of 3 years of experience in managing full sets of accounts
• Experience in the construction industry is an advantage
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
