Qualifications & experience Diploma / LCCI / Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field with at least 3years of direct working experience in the field of accounting or finance.Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.Must be proficient in computerised accounting system and Microsoft Offcice especially Excel.Speak and write proficiency in english and mandarin is an added advantage for dealing with foreign customers and partners.Have knowledge of Sales and Service Tax is an added advantageAble to manage multiple tasks and assignments to meet deadlines
Tasks & responsibilities Full Set Accounts ManagementManage daily accounting tasksHandle monthly account closing proceduresFinancial Reporting and Analysis:
- Prepare weekly, monthly, and yearly financial and management reports.
- Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Provide and interpret monthly financial information and operating reports for Management.Month-End Reconciliation:
- Reconcile bank statements regularly.
- Analyze general ledger accounts and expenses.Conduct monthly stock takes
Participate in the year-end audit processGovernment-Related Administrative Works:
- Handle customs, LMW, SST, MITI, MIDA, and other statutory requirements.
- Prepare and submit SST returns in a timely manner.Collaborate with internal and external parties on various accounting and secretarial activities
Assist with any ad-hoc tasks assigned by the superior or management
