Account Executive

The ideal candidate will assist in managing the company's accounting tasks, including daily financial operations and month-end closing activities, as well as preparing and processing accounting entries, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring compliance.
Responsibilities
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Prepare invoices, debit & credit notes, filing, and reporting.
Prepare payments to suppliers, creditors, etc.
Responsible for invoice processing and filing.
Liaise with suppliers and creditors for any issues arising from accounts payable.
Verify and ensure all approved statutory payments are made within the statutory deadline to avoid any unnecessary penalties.
Assist in monthly closing, supplier reconciliation, payment vouchers, and bank reconciliation.
Ensure all accounting systems, practices, controls, and procedures comply with company policy.
Update accounts receivable payments on a daily basis.
Assist in monthly billing for clients.
Prepare monthly bank reconciliation including accounts receivable reconciliation.
Perform any other duties that may be assigned by a supervisor or management as deemed necessary.
Qualifications
1-2 years of experience in an accounting or finance role.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office & AutoCount Accounting System.
Ability to harness financial data to inform decisions.
