RESPONSIBILITIES:Should have sound knowledge of all IFRS and MFRS, handle complex areas of financial instruments, leases, hedgings etc.
Draft and prepare consolidated Statements and working for subsidiary and associates.
Provide assistance in preparing the Financial Statements and Cash flow on a timely basis, supported with commentaries to facilitate management decision making and thereon timely submission of relevant information to SNR.
Ensure all data and information are available in order to coordinate the quarterly reporting exercise and ensure timely and accurate reporting to the region.
To assist the Finance Manager/Director in preparing the quarterly Analyst briefing for the Presentation.
To assist in providing timely and accurate information including sensitivities and feasibility studies for effective decision making.
Operate in treasury dealing with banks and financial institutions, should have sound knowledge of hedging commodities, forex and interest rates. Should be able to cover OTC forwards, Futures and Options.
To be one of the key points of contact for Financial Shared Services on credit control related matters, ensuring customer credit risks are minimized and accounts receivable days are in line with target.
To prepare the monthly GL and financial reports and participate in the process of preparing additional reports when required.
Issuance of all documents related to accounts (e.g., sales invoices, purchase orders, GRN, bank payment receipts and vouchers etc.).
Assist to increase the level of financial and commercial awareness within the marketing function.
Participate in the annual budgeting and strategic planning process with the Finance Team.
Assist in performing ad hoc analyses and support overall finance function.
Providing assistance to prepare periodic financial reports evaluating and interpreting the company's financial performance.
Maintain the company's current year and long-term forecasts.
The Account Executive is to abide by all rules as per company policy following all the professional ethics; he/she will have to keep all company matters confidential until and unless authorized by management to release any such information to third party or public.
He/She will be liable to maintain accounting records backup in case any fire or any other accident occurs.
He/She will be responsible to provide assistance in all respects of accounts and finance to the finance team.
Other admin jobs might be handed on an ad hoc basis.
High M.S Excel skills required along with ERP/Accounting Software understanding.
KEY REQUIREMENTS:Professional qualifications such as (ACCA)/(IMA)/(CA)/(CIMA) fully qualified with 1-2 years' experience or Accounting/Finance Degree with 2-4 years' experience in a capacity at the corporate sector. (Anyone less than a degree holder will not be entertained).
Strong commercial acumen, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Possess strong analytical, communication and inter-personal skills and able to work under time pressure.
You will be dealing with many financial institutions; strong ethical and communication skills required in English, other language is a plus but all emails and dealings will only be in English.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills in order to build relationships across all levels.
Results Oriented and have strong negotiation skills.
Monday to Saturday (Full Office Hours 9 am to 6 p.m), might require to work after office hours or on holiday from time to time.
