Get To Know The Role
Manage a portfolio of key restaurants with a focus on building lasting relationships and increasing profitability/revenue.
You will be responsible for existing relationships with merchants to increase growth for GrabFood.
You will lead elements of business identification, partnerships, account management, and execution strategy.
You will report into theMerchant Growth Lead and and be based in Petaling Jaya, working onsite.
The Critical Tasks You Will Perform
You willmanage a portfolio of key restaurants with a focus on building lasting relationships and increasing profitability/revenue.
You willcollaborate with merchants for merchant-funded promo programs, merchant commission schemes, new products/features, etc.
You willidentify bottlenecks and potential issues related to merchant operations and the content management process, and provide solutions to these issues.
You willevaluate strategic and partnership opportunities, performing a broad range of quantitative and qualitative analyses.
You willanalyze data and develop plans to increase revenues/profitability for your portfolio, and make decisions that build strong operational performance for your accounts.
You willbuild key accounts, measured by deliveries and GMV.
You willwork across departments to tailor merchant-specific needs (e.g. customized reporting, marketing support, integrations).
You willdeliver business improvement projects to create value for both merchants and GrabFood.
You willimprove operational excellence by working with the merchants and operations teams.
QualificationsWhat Essential Skills You Will Need
You holda Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Business, Management, or a related field.
You bringover 1 year of experience in sales, business development, partnerships, or a similar role, specifically for an account manager position.
You haveexperience in the F&B industry.
You havewritten and verbal communication skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia.
You excelin experience establishing communication and engagement with prospects, with the capability to offer comprehensive solutions for diverse customer needs.
Youcan integrate business, strategy, finance, and legal concepts to manage complex, multi-faceted deals.
You havethe ability to collaborate with both internal and external teams.
