Location: Batu Pahat, 01, MY, 83300; Pandamaran Port Klang, 10, MY, 42000; Subang Jaya, 10, MY, 47500
Division: Global APS
The associate will mainly cover the central region of Malaysia, with potential expansion to other regions. The goal of this position is to drive profitable growth at existing Key Accounts and primarily identify new prospects.
ResponsibilitiesDevelop high-quality, long-term relationships with individual clients and new prospects.
Promote a specialized product mix of CC&S products to achieve sales revenue targets.
Execute the Sales strategy aligned with the marketing and strategic business plans of the APAC region.
Drive profitable growth and improve margins with individual customers through a specialized product mix of CC&S solutions.
Identify value-added opportunities and focus on closing projects with the right product offering to grow profitable new business.
Regularly visit and follow up with customers and prospects with proper pre-call planning and summaries of understanding.
Maintain over 80% prospecting share at customer visits (new customers or existing customers with new projects).
Identify market trends, competitor pricing strategies, and new competitive product launches.
Work closely with Sales team members and Regional BDM/Market Managers to successfully close new profitable business opportunities.
Exhibit good understanding of value selling techniques and maintain an open, customer-focused mindset.
Ensure communication excellence with prompt and reliable responses to internal and external customers.
Prepare reports of all visits.
Implement all projects in Salesforce and regularly update these projects and customers to drive the growth funnel.
Report back monthly highlights and utilize other sales tools.
Maintain good relationships and build an excellent network while differentiating business and personal matters to stay solution-oriented.
Objective resolution of conflicts or issues.
Exhibit an open-minded and entrepreneurial attitude.
Min. QualificationsDiploma / Degree.
Good understanding of the plastic industry market in Malaysia.
Location should be in the Central Region of Malaysia.
Preferred QualificationsDiploma / Degree in Chemical or Business Administration (BBA).
Good understanding of the Flexible Film and Masterbatch/Additive Market in Malaysia.
Strong organizational skills – planning, organizing, execution, able to coordinate activities and engage others to achieve results.
Ability to communicate professionally with people at all levels of the organization and external contacts.
Judgment and decision-making skills, including the analysis of costs and benefits of changes and recommending the most appropriate action.
Conflict resolution and negotiation skills; the ability to handle complaints, settle disputes, and resolve conflicts.
Complex analytical skills, with the ability to understand business processes.
Accountable, results-oriented, and self-motivated; open-minded to challenges.
Able to manage change and meet commitments and deadlines.
