Develop relationships with Lyondellbasell's key prospects in the Market for Flexible Packaging and Hygiene which includes all Masterbatch, Additive, White and Color solutions for Flexible Films, BOPP Films, Breathable Films and Flexible Plastic Labels. The associate will mainly cover central region of Malaysia, with potentially expanded to some other region. The goal of this position is to drive profitable growth at existing Key Accounts and primarily identify new prospects.
Responsibilities:
Develop a high quality, long-term relationships with individual clients and new prospects.
Promote a specialized product mix of CC&S products to achieve sales revenue targets.
Execute on the Sales strategy aligned with the marketing and strategic business plans of the APAC region.
Drive profitable growth and improve margins with individual customers through a specialized product mix of CC&S solutions.
Identify the right value-added opportunity and focus on closing projects with the right product offering to grow profitable new business.
Regularly visit and follow up with customers and prospects with proper pre-call planning and summaries of understanding.
Maintain over 80% of prospecting share at customer visits (new customers or existing customers but new projects).
Identify Market Trends, competitor price strategies, and new competitive product launches.
Identify new profitable business opportunities and work closely with the Sales team members and Regional BDM/Market Managers to successfully close them.
Demonstrate a good understanding of value selling techniques, with an open and customer-focused mindset.
Exhibit communication excellence involving prompt and reliable responses with internal and external customers.
Prepare reports of all visits.
Implement all projects in Salesforce and regularly update these projects and customers to drive the growth funnel.
Report back monthly highlights and other sales tools.
Maintain good relationships, build an excellent network, and differentiate business and personal matters to stay solution-oriented.
Objectively resolve conflicts or issues.
Demonstrate an open-minded and entrepreneurial attitude.
Min. Qualifications:
Diploma / Degree.
Good understanding of the plastic industry market in Malaysia.
Location should be in Central Region of Malaysia.
Preferred Qualifications:
Diploma / Degree in chemical or Business Administration (BBA).
Good understanding of the Flexible Film and Masterbatch/Additive Market in Malaysia.
Strong organizational skills – planning, organizing, execution, able to coordinate activities and engage others to achieve results.
Ability to communicate professionally with people at all levels of the organization and external contacts.
Judgment and decision-making skills, analyzing costs and benefits of changes and recommending the most appropriate action.
