Account Manager

Job Description :
1. To handle full set of accounts including monthly closing and preparation of monthly management accounts within stipulated dateline.
2. Manage Account & Finance team to ensure smooth of day to day operation of overall accounting and Finance activities.
3. Prepare and manage Yearly Budget to control cost and improve the overall financial performance.
4. Liaison with external Auditor for yearly audit, Custom Department for SST matters, IRB for company tax and etc.
5. Fully in charge for financing matters including new financing, review existing financing facility and liaise with bankers.
6. Fully responsible for monitoring customer ageing and ensure collection wise smooth all the time.
7. Ensure internal controls are in place and ensure compliance with regulatory laws and rules.
8. Other ad-hoc duties or project as assigned by management from time-to-time.

Requirements :
1. Candidates must possess at least Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance and preferably a member of any professional accounting body (ACCA/CPA/CA/MIA)
2. Required language(s): English & Bahasa Malaysia (Both Verbal & Written)
3. Minimum 5 years of experience handling full scope of accounting in F&B Industries and retail background.
4. Good interpersonal, communication, written and presentation skills
5. Proactive, deadline oriented, team player and able to work independently.
6. Good analytical and problem solving skills.
7. Result oriented.
8. Experience in handling SQL accounting system is an added advantage.
9. Continuously identify ways to improve processes to increase efficiency.
