Financial Oversight and Full Account Management:
Oversee and manage the full set of accounts, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), and Accounts Receivable (AR).
Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, reports, and schedules.
Conduct comprehensive reviews of financial transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Strategic Financial Operations:
Direct and conduct end-to-end accounting processes, ensuring adherence to accounting standards and company policies.
Prepare key financial documents such as income statements, balance sheets, tax filings, and regulatory reports.
Monitor and guide the month-end closing processes, preparing actionable financial reports for management meetings.
Accounts Payable and Receivable Management:
Manage the complete AP and AR cycle, including invoicing, payment processing, and collections.
Regularly reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to maintain accuracy.
Resolve payment discrepancies and billing issues in coordination with internal departments.
Ensure timely payment to suppliers and adherence to agreed payment terms for local and overseas creditors.
Finance Operations and Expense Management:
Oversee daily financial operations, including the processing of utility bills, administrative expenses, and payments to avoid late fees.
Maintain accurate records of all payment activities and ensure proper documentation for audit purposes.
Team Collaboration and Stakeholder Liaison:
Act as the primary point of contact for auditors, tax agents, bankers, and other external stakeholders.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless financial operations and address any issues that arise.
System Management and Process Improvement:
Assist in setting up, updating, and maintaining accounting systems such as SQL Accounting or equivalent platforms.
Standardize processes to improve the efficiency and accuracy of financial operations.
Leadership and Reporting:
Prepare and present comprehensive management reports, including ad-hoc financial insights, weekly summaries, and monthly overviews.
Support the management team by providing data-driven insights for decision-making.
Lead efforts to investigate and resolve financial discrepancies proactively.
Additional Responsibilities:
Monitor and improve financial processes, ensuring alignment with company goals.
Perform any other duties as assigned by senior management to support overall business objectives.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
5 years above of proven experience in managing financial accounts, with expertise in full-set accounting.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and reporting standards.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SQL Accounting) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to manage cross-functional collaboration.
