Job Description:
Assist with the maintenance of the full set of accounts, performing daily accounting tasks related to banking, accounts payable, accounts receivable, inventory, and general ledger.
Manage supplier payments, ensuring timely verification of invoices and processing of payments.
Maintain relationships with suppliers and ensure timely resolution of issues related to suppliers' invoices and payments.
Monitor the company's receivables, ensuring that customer payments are promptly collected.
Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual management and financial reports to ensure accurate submission in a timely manner.
Participate in the physical inventory count.
Liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers, and company secretaries, ensuring compliance with audit, taxation, and statutory reporting requirements.
Carry out duties and job functions as assigned by the manager, which may not be limited to the above responsibilities and may be subject to change.
Assist in preparing tax computations and other tax incentives applications.
Manage and ensure that accounts payable, accounts receivable, inventory, banking, bank reconciliation, journals, and general ledger functions are performed accurately, effectively, and efficiently.
Job Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least an Advanced/Higher/Degree in Finance/Accountancy or equivalent.
Minimum 2-3 years of accounting and finance-related work experience.
Experience in operational matters, preferably from the manufacturing industry.
Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with AutoCount Accounting system is an added advantage.
Able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
