Account Payable Assistant

Minimum Requirements:
Degree in Accountancy or with relevant academic qualification
Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
Preferable having Accounting related knowledge
Proficient in Microsoft skills especially Microsoft Excel
Possess good attitude and willing to learn
Detailed and responsible individual, able to work in the fast pace and high-volume manufacturing environment
Responsibilities:
Assists in month-end closing, journal entry preparation, and account analysis and reconciliation including inter-company accounts
Assists in preparation of monthly, quarterly, and year-end reports
Process vendor payments on a timely and accurate manner in compliance with the company's policies on authorization limits and payment terms
Provides computer-input support and certain clerical functions as required
May perform clerical functions such as, but not limited to, the copying and filing of documents, and preparing/ completing administrative paperwork as required
May facilitate resolution of problems including identifying causes to prevent re-occurrence
Performs related functions and responsibilities, on occasion, as assigned
