About the role We are seeking an experienced Account Supervisor to join our dynamic team in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. As our Account Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day accounting operations and ensuring the financial health of our organisation. What you'll be doing Oversee the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statementsEnsure compliance with all relevant accounting standards, laws, and regulationsAssist in the development and implementation of financial policies and proceduresProvide financial analysis and insights to support business decision-makingCollaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address financial challengesMentor and train junior members of the accounting teamWhat we're looking for Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar supervisory role within the accounting and bookkeeping industryStrong technical skills in financial reporting, budgeting, and financial analysisProficient in the use of accounting software (AutoCount Software) and spreadsheet applicationsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with both financial and non-financial stakeholdersProven track record of leading and developing a teamThorough understanding of accounting principles, standards, and best practicesRelevant tertiary qualification in Accounting or a related field
