Accountant/Assistant Accountant, Global Banks/Financial InstitutionsRepresenting multiple global financial institutions and banks to search for Corporate Accountant to be part of the Regional Accounting Department.
Job DutiesReport to Financial Controller and Senior Managers.
Accountable for supporting month-end closing and full set of accounts for various entities in HK & APAC.
Facilitate financial audit and tax filing.
Review T&E payment/reimbursement by working closely with vendors.
Verify invoices and oversight payment cycle to ensure fulfilment of corporate governance.
Facilitate regional/global ad-hoc projects related to internal audit and system enhancement.
Responsible for fund investment accounting which covers funds' liquidity management, invested capital preparation, understanding transaction structure, investment dividend calculation and estimation, deal exits dividend and carried interest calculation.
Support end-to-end fund operations and funds capital calls/distributions activities.
Assist pre/post-investment deal structure/documentation review to ensure compliance with fund agreements & tax regulations by working closely with investment professionals.
Report to Regional Head of Finance & partner with a team of professional accountants.
Accountable for Head Office Financial & HKMA Regulatory Reporting.
Ensure accurate financial disclosure, compliance of accounting standards and HKMA banking ordinance.
Accountable for preparing Head Office Financial Reporting.
Facilitate the preparation of Management Reporting.
RequirementsDegree/Diploma holder with 4 years+/- steady full set experience.
Highly proficient in Excel and experienced in using Oracle/SAP/Concur is a definite advantage.
Knowledge in US and Local GAAP.
Adaptive to working in a multinational environment.
Experience in APAC Fund Accounting, L/P and Capital call.
