Randstad is partnering with a global provider specialised in self-service payment solutions. With the expanding business within the group, the Finance team here in Malaysia is looking to expand their team. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be leading a team of 2 executives in their office based in Petaling Jaya.
about the job Ensure timely, accurate month-end closing and financial reporting to the Finance Manager. Responsible for preparation and closing of monthly and annual financial statements. Responsible for accounting processes and tasks (i.e.: AP & AR process, GL, account reconciliation, etc.). Coordinate and liaise with internal parties to support intercompany activities. Coordinate and liaise with external parties like external auditors, tax agents, corporate secretarial agents, local tax and government authorities where required. Support and ensure compliance with all finance filing requirements, tax filing requirement (GST/WHT/CIT/…), audits, procedures and forms both statutory and internal. Assist in new processes and system implementation when required. Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations, standards, and reporting requirements. Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring accurate and timely provision of required financial information. Stay updated on regulatory changes and ensure compliance with relevant financial laws and regulations. Continuously improve financial systems, processes, and controls to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability. Stay current with industry trends and best practices in finance and accounting. requirements
Degree in Accountancy/Finance or equivalent or degree in accountancy/professional qualification (or partially qualified accountant) At least 5 yrs experience in a financial accounting role A broad range of accounting and commercial skills Excellent analytical skills Good computing skills in Excel Good communication skills and able to interact with all levels of management #J-18808-Ljbffr
