We are now looking for Accountants to join our growing Accounting team.
Position Duties
The responsibilities of the Accountant include recording day-to-day financial transactions and completing posting processes, verifying if transactions are recorded correctly in the ledger, performing partial checks of posting processes, and performing bank reconciliation.
The Accountant is also tasked with entering data, maintaining records, launching reports, processing accounts receivables and payables, and assisting in the preparation of management accounts.
Other Responsibilities
Maintaining full sets of books for a portfolio of clients including preparing payments, bank reconciliations, fixed assets, raising journals, and preparing financial reports in the Xero accounting system.
Preparing unaudited financial statements, monthly MPF submissions, and payroll support for clients.
Understanding and adhering to Hong Kong financial regulations and legislation.
Working with internal stakeholders and third-party consultants on specifications.
Performing other ad-hoc accounting related duties.
Minimum Requirements
Degree/diploma in Accountancy - MUST!
2 years relevant experience.
Fluent in Mandarin, Cantonese, and English.
Professional certification preferred but not essential e.g.
ACCA, CPA, or CA.
Tech savvy.
Experience with XERO - must.
Preferably a Certified User.
Experience with software like Dext and Hubdoc - PLUS.
Self-motivated, positive attitude, proactive, and detail-oriented.
Good interpersonal skills and work ethics.
Able to meet tight deadlines.
