Accountant - Hotel Reservations & Marketing

Responsibilities: · Full Set of Accounts:  Prepare, manage, and review the full set of accounts, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Payroll, and Financial Statements.
· Revenue Management:  Monitor, record, and analyze revenue streams from OTA channels, PPC marketing, direct sales, and wholesale agreements with hotels.
· Sub-Wholesaler and Master Wholesaler Accounting:  Maintain accurate financial records for sub-wholesaler agreements, track commissions and payments, and reconcile monthly statements.
· PPC Marketing Accounting:  Manage financial records related to PPC marketing campaigns, including budgeting, expense tracking, and ROI analysis.
· Sales Commission Accounting:  Calculate and process commissions for sales agents, call center representatives, and other personnel based on sales performance.
· Financial Reporting & Analysis:  Prepare periodic financial reports, including Profit & Loss statements, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow statements. Provide insights and recommendations based on financial data to support business decisions.
· Compliance & Taxation:  Ensure compliance with all relevant tax regulations and assist with tax planning and filing. Maintain updated knowledge of industry-specific accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
· Budgeting & Forecasting:  Assist in the development of budgets and forecasts, and provide regular updates on financial performance against targets.
· Cash Flow Management:  Oversee cash flow, ensure timely payments, and manage accounts receivables and payables.
· Inventory Management Support:  Collaborate with the sales and inventory teams to ensure accurate tracking of room allocations and wholesale bookings.
Key Requirements: ·Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
·Professional accounting certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is a plus.
·Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting, preferably in the hospitality or travel industry.
·Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, with experience in managing complex revenue streams.
·Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel; experience with OTA platforms is a plus.
·Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
·Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
·Ability to communicate effectively with various departments and external partners.
