**General information**:**Reference **:2024-144**Position description**:**Job title**:Accountant**Contract type**:Permanent**Job description**:3C Metal is a multinational company headquartered in France with subsidiaries across four continents.In more than 25 years of operation, 3C Metal has not only become a recognized leader in oil and gas industry, but diversified our operations to service clients in all areas of the #energy sector.We are a trusted green technology retrofit partner, facilitating everything from surveys, feasibility studies,3D Laser scanning, engineering, fabrication, installation, electrical integration and assistance with commissioning.We are looking for an Accountant to join our team in Malaysia.**Main responsibilities**:- Prepare journal entries.- General ledger operations.- Monthly closing and preparation of monthly management pack report.- Reconcile and maintain balance sheet accounts.- Administer accounts receivable and accounts payable.- Account / bank reconciliations.- Monitor bank issues including fee anomalies and check differences.- Payroll bookkeeping and payment (calculation is outsourced)- Prepare bank transfers.- Prepare, send and register invoices to the clients.- Send payment reminders to the clients.- Receive and register invoices from the suppliers.- Register and summarize petty cash expenses.- Assist with preparation and coordination of the audit process.- Project costs collection**What you bring (experience & qualifications)**- Minimum of 3 -5 years of experience in the field- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or equivalent.- Proficiency in MS Office Excel- Proficiency in accounting software MYOB**What we offer**- Good benefits package- Flexible working hours- Recreational activities- Safe and healthy working environment where people can express freelytheir ideas- Opportunities for career development**Profile**:**Position location**:**Country**:Malaysia**Location**:Johor**Minimum level of education required**:Bachelor**Qualification**:University**Minimum level of experience required**:2-5 years
