As an Accountant, you will play a crucial role in managing the company's financial accounting and reporting processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and the delivery of insightful financial information to support the organisation's strategic decision-making.
What you'll be doing Preparing and processing invoices, payments, and receipts to maintain accurate financial recordsReconciling bank statements and general ledger accounts to ensure financial data integrityAssisting in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reportsConducting analysis and providing recommendations to the Finance Manager to support business decisionsLiaising with internal departments and external stakeholders, such as auditors and tax authorities, to ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and policiesContributing to the continuous improvement of financial processes and controlsProviding support and guidance to the finance team as neededWhat we're looking for A bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related fieldAt least 3 years of experience in a similar Accountant role, preferably in the Accounting and Financial Accounting & Reporting industriesStrong knowledge of financial accounting principles, practices, and regulationsProficient in using accounting software, spreadsheets, and other financial systemsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracyAbility to work collaboratively as part of a team and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
