The Company:
RSGx are an established management and engineering consultancy that have a portfolio of projects across the Infrastructure, Mining, Oil & Gas and Telecommunication sectors. With multidisciplinary capabilities in design, construction, commissioning, operations and maintenance RSGx provide services to a wide range of clients both nationally and internationally.
 
Responsibilities:

The accountant will play a critical role in ensuring financial compliance and efficient management of the company's financial operations.
  
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and accounts in Xero Process payroll and ensure timely payment of salaries and statutory contributions in Xero Handle statutory compliance requirements, including filing of taxes, EPF, and SOCSO contributions Assist with accounts receivable and payable functions Prepare and reconcile bank statements Assist with billings in Xero and claim preparation. Manage daily cost tracking to ensure correct WBS/Project use and monitor cost control. Prepare end-of-month journals and accruals. Prepare, distribute, and comment on WIP. Conduct end-of-month cost reviews and project margin analysis. Communicate with key stakeholders promptly to manage outcomes against expectations. Attend weekly finance meetings and monthly Results Review meetings to present forecasts and results with commentary. Produce ad-hoc reports as requested by contract managers and the operations team. Requirements: Certificate, Diploma or Degree in accounting 3-5 years of experience in accounting or a similar role. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, Xero, EFTsure) and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Strong understanding of tax regulations Strong analytical and communication skills (proficient in English). Demonstrated experience working across multiple accounting and/or procurement platforms. Experience in liaising with offshore suppliers to resolve invoice processing issues. Understanding of internal control processes and elements. Highly organised, with the ability to meet strict deadlines. Technologically savvy with accurate data entry skills.  If you would like to register your interest in this position, please hit APPLY.
