A US based MNC specializes in the trading of engineering products.
ResponsibilitiesGeneral Ledger Oversight:Ensures data integrity through balance sheet reconciliation, addressing issues like unreconciled and aged items, and preparing complex journal entries for accruals, prepayments, depreciation, and fixed asset accounting.
Accounts Payable Management:Establishes goals and oversees the AP team's daily operations, ensuring efficient resource utilization, performance, and compliance with operational targets.
Policy and System Implementation:Develops and implements policies, systems, and procedures to enhance General Ledger operations, including stock adjustments, disposals, and costing analysis.
Regulatory Compliance:Handles SST submissions, supports audit requests, and ensures adherence to SQS-D and ISO9001:2018 requirements.
Support and Ad Hoc Responsibilities:Provides analytical and operational support to management and performs additional tasks as required.
QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting or professional qualification.
Strong understanding of Financial Reporting standards and controls.
Proficient in ERP (e.g., SAP, SAP B1), PowerBI, Microsoft Office and excellent with numbers and data analytics.
