Accountant

Job Responsibilities:
To prepare management and statutory reports for a plantation division, 5-years forecast, budgets and cash flow projection.
To monitor day-to-day production records of an oil palm plantation.
To prepare necessary agreements for any contract works for an oil palm plantation.
To review the accounting systems and maintenance of financial and accounting records.
Ensure compliance with statutory & tax authorities and also prepare any tax compliance reports as required.
Job Requirements:
Professional accounting qualification such as CPA, ACCA, CIMA or its equivalent.
Degree/Diploma in Agriculture Science / Plantation Management / ISP Diploma would be an added advantage.
More than 5 years of relevant working experience in a similar capacity, preferably in medium to large oil palm plantation management or exposure to the industry through external audit environment.
Practical working knowledge on the application of Financial Reporting Standard.
Practical knowledge of a fully integrated computerized system will be an advantage.
Possess strong leadership and communication skills.
Possess a high level of integrity, meticulous, analytical and able to work independently.
Must be able to travel to the estates and to undertake any ad-hoc assignment when required.
