As an Accountant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the financial operations.Responsibilities
Full Set of accounts : Manage and maintain the full set of accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
Daily finance operations :Manage day-to-day accounting operation, including but not limited to accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
Responsible for accounting tasks such as payment, cashflow report, general ledger, monthly journals, revenue posting, and tax filing.
Maintain accurate general ledger entries and reconcile bank statements on a regular basis.
Maintain Fixed Assets listing, prepare prepayment listing, deposit listing, and sales report.
Assist in preparing documents for GST submission.Financial statements and audit : Prepare Monthly Management accounts, including balance sheet, income statements, debtor aging, and creditor aging accounting closing, coordinate annual audits, and liaise with auditors to ensure compliance and accurate financial reporting.
Finance support for operations : Collaborate with operations colleagues to provide financial support, guidance, and insights to drive business decisions.
Accounting oversight : Work closely with the Financial Controller to maintain accounting oversight, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
Special/ad-hoc duties : To perform special/ad-hoc duties assigned by superior from time to time.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field.
A professional qualification (e.g., CPA or ACCA) is a plus.
At least 7 years of experience in accounting and finance operations.
Prior experience in supporting Singapore entities is highly preferred.Please highlight this in your resume.
Knowledge of accounting standards, tax regulations, and financial reporting.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work independently and efficiently.
Proficient in English (oral and written).
