Accountant

ResponsibilitiesPerform cash flow management
Responsible for daily accounting entries and maintenance of a full set of accounts
Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R and debtors report, A/P and creditor report, GL and Counsel, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition.
Key in and check transactions in the accounting system for daily operations.
Prepare monthly profit & loss statements and balance sheets, submitting them to the Superior while meeting deadlines.
Assist in the issuance and filing of invoices, payment vouchers, cash vouchers, cheques, etc.
Assist in preparing necessary documents, projects, paperwork, and license-related tasks.
Perform bank reconciliations and financial analysis.
Closely follow up on payments and collections with clients or suppliers.
Oversee inter-company transactions.
Ensure accurate recording of all revenue and expenses in the financial statements.
Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing within strict deadlines.
Liaise with external parties (bankers, auditors, tax agents, and government authorities).
Assist in corporate taxation and year-end audits.
Maintain strict confidentiality of all matters pertaining to work.
Any other duties assigned by Superior or Management.
RequirementsProficient in Autocount & SQL software.
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in the related field.
Good interpersonal skills.
Able to work with minimum supervision and as a team leader.
Good analytical & communication skills, resourceful, and able to work independently.
Required languages: English, Bahasa Malaysia & Chinese is an advantage.
