Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and other financial reports

Process and record financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable
Provide support in tax planning and compliance, working closely with the finance team
Contribute to the implementation of financial controls and procedures to enhance the overall efficiency of the finance function
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes

What we're looking forDegree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
At least 5 years of experience in a similar Accountant role, preferably within the maritime or engineering industry
Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles, GAAP, and regulatory requirements
Proficient in the use of accounting software, spreadsheets, and other financial reporting tools
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide meaningful insights
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and compliance
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders
