Accountant

Responsibilities:
Prepare weekly cashflow, forecast cashflow, debtors & creditors aging report, review the accuracy of the daily report, rectify any error and discrepancies prior reporting to manager.
Monitor cash flow and working capital requirements.
Assist in the management of accounts payable and receivable.
Prepare monthly and annual financial statements in compliance with regulatory standards.
Assist in the preparation of financial reports for management review.
Ensure accurate and timely closing of financial records and reports.
Follow up with suppliers on outstanding debts.
Support the Finance Manager in the preparation of any other reports.
Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, company policies, and internal controls.
Identify and recommend improvements to financial processes and controls.
Handle full set accounts (AR/AP/GL).
Responsible for monthly closing and monthly management reports - profit and loss statements, forecasting, and budgeting.
Plan, implement, and oversee procurement strategies to meet cost savings targets.
Prepare payment vouchers, and check and verify the relevant payments to suppliers, utilities providers, etc.
Preparation of monthly bank reconciliation statement.
Provide up-to-date and accurate financial information as and when required and ensure proper maintenance of accounting records and filing.
Minimum Requirements:
Minimum diploma or degree in finance/accounting or equivalent.
Able to converse in English.
Have at least 1 year experience in the F&B industry.
Can work independently or in teams.
