WATI is leading the next paradigm shift in CPaaS computing and is looking for an Accountant to help the Finance team in handling day-to-day financial management of the organization.
ResponsibilitiesDay to Day:
Ensure all vendors' invoices are recorded accurately into the accounting system.
Prepare monthly expenses schedules, accrual and prepayment lists for management review.
Support revenue-related transactional activities, including but not limited to: review and record of sales, preparation of cash reconciliation to revenues, and other ad hoc or recurring analysis.
Perform daily bank reconciliations as required, ensuring all unreconciled items are resolved in a timely manner.
Month End:
Support month-end close activities, including but not limited to: record of month-end close transactions in accounting system, preparation of balance sheet schedules and reconciliations, preparation of other ad hoc and/or recurring analysis, and completion of bank reconciliations.
Payroll preparation and reconciliation.
Assist in preparing the monthly/quarterly/annual financial reports, including preparing notes to financial statements and other schedules for disclosures.
Prepare inter-company reconciliations, ensure items that are not reconciling are identified and properly recorded.
Manage the cash flow and cash flow forecast to provide effective capital management.
As and when required:
Preparation of audit schedules and liaise with auditors.
Assist tax and legal consultant for the income tax filings, subsidies compliances, and other regulatory submissions.
Assist in improving internal control procedures and ensure compliance with company policies to minimize financial risk.
Minimum Requirements3-5 years of experience in financial accounting.
Professional accounting qualifications such as ACCA or CPA.
In-depth understanding of IFRS.
Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese.
1-3 years of experience in a multinational environment.
Strong ability to multitask with exceptional planning, analytical, and organizational skills.
High attention to detail, well-organized, self-motivated, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment.
