We are now seeking applicants to join our Finance team in the Kepong, Kuala Lumpur office, Malaysia.
This role offers hybrid working opportunity with an expectation to attend the office twice per week.

Reporting to the Regional Manager, Accounting you will be primarily responsible for ensuring the actioning of a range of accountancy tasks within specified timelines, meeting regulatory and compliance requirements including reporting, reconciling of cross system data, complete tax requirements and interact/reporting with FP&A to ensure reconciliation and be a key figure in audit responsibilities.
This role will support the accountancy requirements of Malaysia with key responsibilities for the role including reconciling between financial systems to ensure accurate reporting & figures, be a crucial figure when working with auditors and a source of all information relating to the Malaysia books.
Who are we looking for?
This interesting and challenging role will suit a person who is an Accountant with a can-do attitude, and key attributes of being commercially-minded, having a passion for consistent performance and continuous improvement, strong communication skills and a desire to provide a high level of financial guidance. Attention to detail, tenacity and excellent interpersonal skills will also be essential for success.
Minimum 3+ years experience working as an Accountant
Minimum diploma or degree of Accounting
Familiarity across multiple financial systems
Ability to identify and make appropriate decisions on next actions in relation to assessment of financial information.
Maintain the highest standard of detail; to ensure accurate
Contemporary knowledge and understanding of accounting principles, legislation and standards;
Highly proficient and knowledge of auditing practices;
Highly developed interpersonal skills, with the proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships and communicate with a diverse range of people both internal and external
Team oriented and results focused.
