Key Responsibilities
Responsible for maintaining full set of accounts.
Responsible for all areas relating to financial reporting.
Payment preparation, including verification of documentation.
Perform account reconciliations to verify the accuracy and consistency of financial data.
Monitor cash flow management, budgeting, and consolidation of accounting information internally.
Recommends financial actions by analyzing accounting options.
Maintains accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.
Addresses tight deadlines and a multitude of accounting activities including general ledger preparation, financial reporting, year-end audit preparation, ensuring tax compliances, and the support of budget and forecast activities.
Work closely with Department Head to ensure all documents are properly collated for a timely submission.
Liaise with bankers, auditors, tax agents, company secretaries and other statutory bodies.
Understand the requirements for a QMS, including documented information, planning and determining process interactions.
Comply with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on necessary actions.
Contributes to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed.
Any other tasks assigned by the HOD from time to time.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
Possessing a professional certificate such as CA/CPA/ACCA will be an added advantage.
Ability to manage a full set of accounts.
Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
Strong knowledge of financial reporting and reconciliation.
Excellent organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
Possess own transportation.
