Accountant

Job Responsibilities : Responsible for overall accounting & financial department operation. Prepare and review financial reports and other financial statements reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards. - Handle full set of consolidation account (AP bill, AR, GL & Journal) Supervise all aspects of the Accounts department. Lead and supervise team members on day to day accounting and finance functions and reviews to ensure transactions are posted accurately in the accounts. Develop cost accounting system, Monthly P&L Forecast, statistical data and financial reporting. Liaise with bank, auditors, tax agent, secretary and relevant government authorities. Ensure compliance of Company's Standard Operating Procedures and notifies Management of any irregularities or non-compliance discovered; and investigates into any irregularities as and when required by Management. Preparation of yearly budget and biweekly cash flow planning. Keeping abreast of changes in financial regulations and legislation. Preparation and submission of service tax. Any other responsibility that management may assign from time to time. Job Requirements : Candidate must posses at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, LCCI, Finance/Accountancy/Banking, CAT, ACCA or equivalent. - Required skill(s): MS Excel, MS Word, MS Powerpoint. Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English At least 5 - 8 years of working experience in the related accounting/finance field is required for this position. Familiar with computerized accounting system, preferably SQL Able to work independently under minimum supervision Ability to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines and to work independently and as part of a team. - Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing. Ability to lead, flexible, enthusiastic, self-motivated and team player.
