Company Overview:Pharmaserv Alliances Sdn Bhd was established on 19 Oct 2001, wholly owned by Kumpulan Perubatan Johor (KPJ). We are the Central Procurement Arm for KPJ Hospitals, Government Hospitals, and private, a wholesaler and distributor of pharmaceutical, medical disposables, vitamins and supplements, health and beauty, and other hospital-related products. We pride ourselves on fostering a culture of excellence and are looking for an Accountant to join our growing team.Key Responsibilities:Record Financial Transactions:Maintain accurate accounts, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
Prepare Financial Reports:Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports for management review.
Reconcile Accounts:Ensure accuracy by reconciling bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial accounts.
Tax Compliance:Assist with preparing and filing tax returns and ensure the company adheres to local, state, and federal tax regulations.
Budgeting & Forecasting:Help create financial forecasts and support budgeting processes, ensuring effective allocation of resources.
Audit Support:Work closely with external auditors to provide necessary documents and ensure timely completion of audits.
Financial Analysis:Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide insights for decision-making.Qualifications:Experience:Minimum of 5 years in accounting or finance.
Education:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or similar certification is a plus.
Skills:Strong knowledge of accounting software and MS Excel; familiarity with tax preparation is a plus.
Attention to Detail:High attention to detail with the ability to spot discrepancies and resolve issues efficiently.
Communication:Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
Problem-Solving:Strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving financial issues.
Organization:Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
