Accountant

Description
• Handle and manage a full set of accounts for MLS Group of Companies and/or clients, including AP, AR, inventory, Fixed Asset, GL, and management reports.
• Manage month-end closing, ensuring all month-end reconciliations are performed, prepayments, accruals, and journals are properly prepared and posted on time.
• Set up customer credit control processes and follow up closely with customers to ensure prompt collection.
• Manage cash flow planning and daily cash position updates.
• Compute and submit quarterly taxation reports.
• Prepare for financial audits and liaise with auditors on audit matters.
• Responsible for company secretarial matters, including filing annual returns and other statutory filings.
• Assist in milestone project accounting and ensure all invoices are promptly billed and revenue is recognized properly.
• Lead, manage, and assist in the AR process, ensuring and improving the total outstanding payments owed to the Company.
• Other duties as assigned by the Manager.
