Accountant (Mia Member)

Job Description & Requirements Prepare group consolidation accountsPrepare and analyse financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, to provide accurate and timely financial information to stakeholdersPrepare financial budgeting and forecasting, working closely with financial controller to develop annual budgets and long-term financial plans.Monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying variances and implementing corrective actions as needed, together with financial controllerOversee the preparation and submission of regulatory filings and reports in compliance with the regulationsCoordinate with external auditors and regulatory authorities to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulationsManage treasury functions, including cash flow management, investment strategies, and banking relationships.Stay abreast of changes in accounting standards, regulations, and industry trends relevant to companies and ensure compliance across the organisation. Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; MIA member; CPA/ACCA preferredAudit experience is preferredExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial dataStrong leadership and communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environmentHigh level of integrity and ethical standards, with a commitment to accuracy and attention to detail
