Accountant & Office Manager (Job Description)
We are looking for a committed team player, able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, analytical and meticulous for details, high integrity, trustworthy Accountant to manage our company's financial operations, ensuring accuracy in accounting and compliance with the law.
Semai speaker preferred.
Our Team is largely Semai speaking.
Responsibilities:
Manage full set of accounts and comply with all company, local, state, and federal accounting regulations, licensing and certifications in Malaysia and also for companies in Singapore.
Key liaison with auditors, tax agent, company secretary and tax authorities.
Filing and remitting taxes and other financial obligations.
Internal group management reporting.
Creating periodic reports, working with spreadsheets and presenting the data.
In charge of consolidation and maintaining accurate financial records.
Managing income and expenditure accounts.
Reconciling the company's bank statements and bookkeeping ledgers, cash flow.
Assisting management in the decision-making process by preparing budgets and financial forecasts.
Assist Directors in administrative tasks and procurement of supplies and inventory.
Preparation of Payroll and Human Resource filings.
Undertake special assignments, ad-hoc functions, and related duties as and when necessary.
Job Requirement:
Candidate must possess a Degree / Accounting certification.
Minimum 5 years related working experience in the related field will be an added advantage.
Possess strong sense of responsibility, commitment and discipline.
Able to work independently with minimum supervision, willing to learn and take on added responsibilities.
Computer literate with good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
