Accountant - Salary Up To Rm 8,000 Based In Penang

Handle Full sets of Accounts  (e.g. Journals, Balance Sheet, Bank recon, Monthly Closing ).Responsible for all manufacturing accounting activities, inventory and costing accounting activities. Be responsive to presentations and deliverables to corporations in a dynamic environment.Continuous improvement, standardization, and harmonization of financial reporting activities.Assist in the planning, execution, and conclusion on SOX compliance assessments and special projects in accordance with professional standards.Intercompany – ensure intercompany is reconciled during month end and prepare the necessary report during year end audit.Reviewing activities performed by Shared service center team.Coordinate with internal and external audit team to provide support and assistance, as needed.
 Requirements Must have at least Diploma or Degree in Accounting is preferred.Min 6 years experiences in Finance and familiar with MNC culture and working environment. Big 4 and manufacturing experience is preferred.Experience working with shared service is preferred. Strong communication and presentation skills and the ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing with various levels in the organization.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Good team player, ability to multi-task and prioritize different requests.Well verse with Microsoft office in particular Microsoft Excel and ERP software (Navision/SAP) .Must be willing to be based in Penang.
